Hope this is not a repost and might be a couple months old but i thought it was really interesting. Buth does anybody know how true is this???

Yup.

High performance pontiac has a full cover story on the bandit. Im also in the same issue on pages 18,19 and 20. Oh and its the november issue.

Cool to see a member in there.

It first caught my eye that it was almost identical to my car less the hood and front bird filler. Wife thought it was about me at first for some reason.

It has already been on for I think 4 weeks now. The finish and test drive are this Friday, I think. You might be able to see some of the past episodes at diynetwork.com. Look for a link titled "Burt builds a Bandit".
Yes, Burt Reynolds was a styling contributor for the new Bandit .
