Default Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish

I was going to use this to polish my chrome wheels, but on it said NOT FOR USE ON CHROME!

what is the deal with it? Good or bad?

EDIT: What do you all use to polish chrome to give it the bling bling again?

yea, aluminum needs to be "sanded" to a polish, the finer the grit the shinier it will get, more grit to get imperfections out, a lot like paint. Aluminum is a plating, its already as shiny as its going to get, nano 1 makes a chrome polish but its not really going to be polishing the chrome per say, its just going to clean it up really well, glass cleaner works well on chrome as well, but you cant really brighten up chrome beyond a good cleaning

The paste or the liquid? That liquid crap flings all over the place when I use the powerball, I like the paste in the can better.

yeah chrome is already as bright as its going to be...i think some claim to get scratches out. You need to polish chrome anyways to protect it from rust.

Don't toss it. It's an excellent polish that works well for polishing other metals and plastics, such as your headlights and taillights.

This is the best stuff I ever used!!! It really gets the dirt/discoloration that gets in the corners of the spokes. It was great to use on the hawk wheels when I had them and also got the tar build up on the exhaust tips!! Great STUFF!!
