Default Installing LCA's soon

Can anyone offer any advice, tips, ticks, or have any other experiences installing them they'd like to share? Anything I should avoid? Anything I should do?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Well.. a quick tip if your BMR LCA is adjustable, set it to the same length as the stocker. Then bolt it on and torque it to the right specs. It's tight under there with regular jack stand and Torque wrench has a really tight fit. That's the most I remember on mine when I did them. Just a bitch to torque....

Here's a tip. Support the car on jack stands and then then support the rear with a jack so it doesn't move when you take the control arm off. The new ones should slide right in with no problem if you don't let the rear move when you take off the old ones.

Also to Ls1z01's point... putting the car up high on the jack stands gives you a lot more room to torque the bolts to spec. And as long as you are paying attention, make sure your jack stands are not in the way of the chassis mounting bolts.

It really is about as simple a mod as it gets.

Lastly though, where do I find the torque specs?

that's what i've been hearing.. I couldn't find my torque wrench so I just tightened the hell out of them. Think it'll be ok for a little bit? I really don't want to repeat the install immediately after finishing it so I guess I'll just pay close attention to em for now..

Belive me, you'll know when they loosen up. Sounds like someone is pounding on the bottom of your car with a hammer when you hit a bump.
