Arrow Little Rock area come inside..

Okay guys, tomorrow is the last days for TSP's cam sale and I don't think I am going to be able to resist that Torquer 2 cam setup at that price.

However, I have a problem.

My tuner, Rhino of course, is 4 hours south from me in Cabot and I don't really want to attempt to drive it down there untuned, this far away from home..

I really don't know many of you down there in LR except Ryan and a few others, but would any of you guys feel up to helping me do the cam install somewhere near LR or the Cabot area? I don't know where Ben just got his cam installed, does someone own a shop or have a garage? I'd be up to pulling an all-nighter or just making it an all day install on a Friday or Saturday.. I could also hook a few guys up with some $$$ if that's what needs to happen..

Bottom line, I would really like to have some help from some guys who have done these installs before on LS1's. I have never really done anything like this myself before..

This is kinda a long shot, but I thought I might see what options I have..

Your best bet is BEN. He did his cam swap at his house w/ the help of Nick for the most part. I don't know squat about swaps but I'll help with the videos and errands depending on what days. I'm off on weekends.

You'll have plethora of guys here that have done this bumpstick mod. Kris Keltner for one, Merv

Droppin in sayin what's up..
I will say with this swap while you are here...
If you can, drop the $50 for a LS2 Timing Chain..

Yea, Ben did his, I did mine and have done a few others, I'm sure Kelt has done a bunch.

When you want to setup a Time bro?

****, myself, Kelt, and a few others might as well setup a time and all get together and help out..what ya think guys?

Next Saturday I will be dropping the Engine out of mine and tearing the top-end off of it..then hopefully back together that day with the new Lifters and no other problems..

Cam, springs, pushrods (7.4's), and if you want..a timing chain and ported oil pump. Timing cover gaskets and waterpump gaskets would be a good investment and you will need a new crank pulley bolt.

I have the Melling HP, Standard Volume Pump in my 402, it idles at about 50ish warm..

Let us know when you want to setup an exact date..

The Gaskets in these are re-useable to my knowledge, I haven't had a problem with them, but I don't think they cost much either..

Hey guys. I would be willing to help but I am working on a huge build right now. It will be after the shootout before I could assist. If you can wait then we all could do It at my shop. It can be done in about 4 hours.

We will just have to wait and see. I have no idea what work I will have in the shop at that time. I have no problem helping guys out but my paying customers have to come first.
