Default Orbital Preferences...What are you buffing with?

I need to purchase a good orbital buffer to detail with. What are you guys using, and why? I checked in to the Meguires one and it seems pretty good, but a little pricey.

Also, where did you guys purchase yours? Thanks!

I just bought a porter cable polisher about a month ago and it is great. It is model number 7336sp.

Where did you get it, and if you don't mind, for how much?

$110 @ Lowes. I also bought a velcro backing plate and pads from classic motoring accessories .

I have heard good things about the Porter units but I have a Sears 9" Craftsman buffer. I do my TA by hand since I use Zaino but I use the buffer on my wifes car with Mothers wax.

I use the good olde Craftsman 9" random orbital waxer. Pretty cheap, and gets the job done. 3.5 years old and keeps running.

Oh, with my PC unit I use the Meguires foam pads (Red, yellow and tan)..

I guess I'll go over to Lowes and check out the PC unit. That's cool that I can use Meguires foam pads too.
