Aight... I have a 98 Z28 Camaro... Automatic (which really sucks).... and these are the mods I plan on making: Pacesetter LT Headers, TSP True Duals, SLP Cold Air Kit, Lunati Voodoo Cam (haven't decided size yet), BBK 80mm intake and TB... Anyone got any other ideas?

I wouldn't go 4.10 gears for an automatic, unless its a track only car. Just get a 3000stall in addition to what your getting and get an LS6 intake and port/polish your stock TB..you'll be seeing low 12 ET's after that.

I dont know about the 4.10s. 3.73 should be enough. Thats what i got and still get 20 mpg on the highway. The car is dam quick. I ran a 13.4 at 106mph in stock converter, 100* heat and hard street tires. 12s should be easy when it cools down and get the converter in and some DRs.
Unless you are looking to make it a strip car you can go hog wild. But if you have a budget to stay in this is the most bang fot the buck. JMO

I know a guy on here I used to work with, he's got an '02 SS with LT's, ported TB, some kind of MAF, lid, dyno tune, 3.42's and a stock A4, stock converter. He ran high 12's, I deleted all his TM and he ran it with DR's and did 12.6. All stock suspension.
I have the same car, when I had an A4 with shift kit, no TM, and a lid. It ran 13.2 at 106 every time, on the stock tires.

Thanks smallblockhero... I figures since it already spanked a mustangs *** might as well make it look good. Then really make it blister some cobra's and decimate all ricers... So 3.73 gears and cam and stall.... then ls6 intake and tb.... then the little ****?

hope we all helped. all these guys helped me immensely ..as i was an LS1 newbie not long ago. seriously....just gear and stall it. **** the cam, intake and throttle body for now. the LS1 has so much left that you dont know about in stock form. the stall and gears alone will make you smile and all youll spend is around 900 bucks if you do it yourself. youll have a stock A4 that pisses off the M6 guys all day. you cant outshift an automatic and youll never mess up your launch by droppin the clutch too early or late.
