Anyone tuned by Livernois Motorsports? I want to get a dyno tune soon and would like to hear from anyone who has had expierence with Livernois Motorsports. I'm in the Det MI area and I've heard good things about them, but don't know anyone who has used them for tuning. I can't seem to get the sponsor list to come up so if you know of anyone else in my area I could use, please let me know. Thanks.

I had a great experience w/ Livernois, they fixed all of the tuning/driveabilty issues that seemed to have been caused by another shop (that used to be) in the above post.
Dan (the tuner @ Livernois) is awesome the driveability was like stock on my car within 10 mins of him tuning it, the other shop had it for almost a week.
Just stop on by Livernois's shop sometime and ask for a tour, you wont be dissappointed

Rich Gala @Wheel To Wheel retuned my car after a well known local tuner couldn't handle the job.
W2W would be my preference but if the Dan at Livernois is Millen then yes he's quite capable of tuning anything.His 10.5 car is NASTY.

Dan tried to tune my buddies '04 GTO it ran like a bag of crap. Kept stalling setting lights, etc. Vector Motorsports retuned it it ran great. Vector tuned my heads/cam/supercharged LT1, my head/cam LS1, and a couple of my buddies cars now and they all run good.

Well, after speaking with Dan about this car he has only tuned one 2004 head/cam gto for an individual. If it was this car then he said you might want to note that the cam was installed incorrectly. And Dan also stated that last time he saw the car (after Kirk tuned it) it wasn't exactly running the way you portray it (still had stalling issues). Bring ALL the facts to the table before just bashing someone's tuning ability. If this wasn't said black and blue gto then please let me know which car it is. Because this was the ONLY H/C 2004 GTO dan has tuned for an individual that he has record of.
Also, Dan would like to know if it was really an issue then why wasn't he notified/contacted about it? Dan takes all of his tunes personally, if someone has been unhappy there has NEVER been a time he hasn't fixed or compensated the individual for it.

Dan tunes his own car and it runs pretty well. Tuning everything else in
comparison is 'Tuning 101' for the most part.
I've personally been it at least 50 cars that he's tuned over the years
and they've all run great...including my own.

As always Im sure Dan and the guys appreciate the kind words, it's always nice to see custoemrs that enjoy their experience enough to brag about a shop, it was definately the main point in why I chose them to tune my car
