I have the LS7 clutch and I am happy with it...but the set up is heavier than the stocker and the added weight is noticeable. The motor does not rev as quickly with the LS7 set up in there. If you are planning mods and want a good clutch that is cheap..it is a good choice.

I had the ls7 clutch in my 98 z28 and it was a great clutch, just heavy like everyone else said. However, I took my buddies 2002 SS with the LS7 clutch and aluminum ls2 flywheel for a spin and it responded much better so I would recommend the ls7 clutch but with the aluminum flywheel.

The LS7 clutch is a good option. It handles similar to the stocker, but capable of handling more power. I do agree, the heavier setup does suck, but it is the only downside I've had with this clutch. I can't compare it to the SPEC though, as this is the first aftermarket clutch I've run, but I do recommend it, especially if you are running this car as your daily driver.

very nice clutch setup. Just put one in a 2000 Super Sport. I cannot really tell much difference in the heavier setup. However, I did put long tubes on the same time. Worst case, spend some money and put a lighter crank pulley on.
EDIT: We have about 500 miles on the clutch, I did the hydraulics as well the same time. I highly reccommend this setup
