Default My Art Carr 3600/3800 Nitrous stall sucks on motor!

Car wont even spin the tires for ****! I would like to get a Neil Chance but can't afford one yet. What do you recommend I do other than spraying it? It doesnt hit hard on motor. I had 1.9 60fts on 28/10.3wide/17 drag radials.

Cheap Options fellas?

Well how big a shot of nitrous are you spraying... those boys at Art Carr know what they are doing... they don't miss the build too often.

I have a loose Art Carr stall, around 5000-5100. It is a MONSTER N/A. I would recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't even think about spraying it though, it's not designed for a hit. I also have a locally made nitrous converter that stalls N/A around 4000. The Art Carr out E.T.'s my nitrous converter (when N/A) by around .3 in the 1/8th or about .45ish in the quarter. Sounds like you want the best of both worlds in a stall, loose for an N/A run, and tight for a nitrous pass. Maybe spraying a 150 shot you could get away with it, but not a 300 shot.

I had an Art Carr in my last TH400, it was a 4500 stall and worked great on motor and a 150 shot as well...

You should give them a call to have them help you understand the reason they built your converter tight.

In a nutshell though... the converter needs to be tight for your 300 shot. If it was not you would most likely blow through it.

So.... does Fuddle or PI (Vigilante) or Neil Chance build a convertor that can stall to 4k on motor and handle a 300 shot...... basically a bit looser N/A yet handle the 300?? I have not sprayed the Art Carr yet...... still working to tie up loose ends with the nitrous system.

i am sure once you spray with that stall youll be happy again. my 4200 fuddle is looser than **** and i am sure spraying my 150 1/2 of yours would make it flash past 6000
