Well if your tires are spinning the car is not moving forward near as fast as it would be if the tires were not spinning. But, that is a relative comment. The ultra high horsepower pro class racers depend on a certain amount of tire spin in order to make et's.

If you are serious about the long *** burnout comment as opposed to actually driving the car through tire spin.. then hands down learn how to be patient and nurse the throttle out of the hole and you'll see better times and win more races.

I used to have that problem with a 427 camaro I had. Hard to learn how much exactly to tilt in. But just laying into it puts on a nice show.

Get some MT dr's on and that should take of that... I have been running some stock 16" wheels on some 255/50/16's and I have no problem hooking at the track. Lower the PSI to ~17psi and your good to go.

Mickey Thompson et street radial drag tires from Jegs. $173.99 each for the 255/50/16's. When I'm at the track I turn my traction control off.

shouldnt this be in the drag racing tech forumn or something. either way learn how your car hooks.and ease into it trying to get to the point where its not to little and its not to much!!

get better tires (i like e/t streets), burn them out until you see smoke, then stomp on it. if it doesnt hook, try different rpms foot braking it
