No theres no issue with doing that. It will cause the trans to run cooler which is good. I have seen them run in series and parrallel

I just run one BIG one... but I have seen the stock truck cooler used with an aftermarket cooler with really good results. Or, like has been said, put a fan on it. Thats the route I'm going.

Curious how many degrees the single cooler w/ fans guys drop, in comparison to the guys running dual coolers. Anyone with a single cooler & fans have input on temp drop?

I've run two in-line for awhile now. I skipped the factory cooler and run into a B&M 24K mounted dope style then to a big Hayden mounted on my AC condenser. Typical summer temps here in Arkansas reach over 100 with ridiculous humidity. Cruising down the highway sees 150* and stop and go sees 180*. I'm happy with that. I take my temp measurement from the cooler line coming out of the tranny. Cooler weather here and stop and go never exceeds 150*.

You are better off installing a 7"or 9" Spal fan on your current cooler, or you can just buy the B&M trans cooler that already has a Spal fan on it. Less lines to run, less of a restriction for the fluid, and it will cool it much better than two trans coolers(from my personal experience). I didn't use the "thermostat" that came with the B&M, and just ran a switch to it, that way you can choose when its on.
