Car bogs and dies anything over 1/2 throttle
As the title states when my car is given anything over 1/2 throttle the car bogs greatly and it feels like i have a severe loss of power. Then when the car reaches high RPMs the car gives out and even when u push on the gas nothing happens and the car slows down till it stops. During this process of slowing down fire is shot from the exhaust. I have replaced the MAF becuase the only time the problem has ever been fixed is when the MAF was unhooked. What could be the problem?

Well you tell us,... Exactly what did you do to your car before all this started happening? Running Rich usually happens just after a header install.

The tune, if there was one. A dyno tune will run you about $500, first just check your spark plugs and see if they are wet. Most likely getting flooded from too much fuel being poured in.
I remember when I was at the track and a guy with a 3000GT was tuning the car himself. He was making the car too rich (turbo car) and dying at the line. He would take his plugs out and they were drenched. He would have to wait till they dried so that he could try again.

the car began doing it shortly after i bought it...it had a SLP MAF and the mods in teh sig and thats it when i unhooked teh MAF it seemed to fix it so i figured it was a bad MAF but when i put a stock one in it still does it. I was told the car had aftermarket heads and cams at one time but the car now is all stock so it may have been tuned in the past. As for headers they're stock i have LTs but have yet to install tehm

I think that only applies if your "tuner" is an idiot and fats thats that sucker up WAY too much tho. Keep in mind ,.. your "tuner" is gonna do 3-4 pulls on average to find your sweet spot on the dyno. Unless he made the same mistake 3-4 times in a row I don't think it was a tune. It has to be something else.... Unless your "tuner" (if your have one) is a dumb-****!
