my roommate got some like that for his grand am and it drove the car crazy. his ABS light came on, and his lights flashed fast.
if his lights worked right id already have these.

fast did your friend with the grand am install an electronic flasher unit, if not that could be part of his problem, most factory flashers run off a (thermal flasher?? cant remember) but the cause of the problems is the led doesnt have enough load so it either flashes really fast or not at all (kinda like when you have a lamp out).
anyway even though i dont have a camaro i think those lights look pretty good but would like to see a set on the car, and i think they would look kick a$$ with a little vht nightshade mod

he has not tried a flasher, and you are right, it is a thermal relay.
the problem is, this seller claims it is plug and play, and even with that flasher, im not sure it will fix the ABS issue. he is buying a flasher relay this week and is going to try it out.
btw heres his car with them...

I was thinking the same about a tint. In a couple of the pictures where it looks darker it looks real good then in the others it looks like it needs a tint to it. That's why I asked for pics.
I see nightshade talked about on here a lot but I don't know much about it. What exactly is it and how hard is it to do and have it look right?

the one with tint is awesome i dont like the plain ones the led's make it look funny (just cause you can see the dots)
now im a little confused i was looking at the pics on ebay again is it actaully led's or just a normal bulb shinning through the little holes?? if its the later they are useless plastic but if its actaully led's they are pretty sweet tinted,
i know what would look really great but i have no idea on how to accomplish it, if you could make them look like the cadillac tails (not the shape but the way they light up)

you have to admit the stock tailights are horrible. The Firebird could pull them off, but by the time the Camaro ended in 2002, its tailighter were 10 years old (ok so the 1998-2002 ones were slightly different)
