Default quarter mile magnacharger time

Went to the track today. Ended up limping the car back because the clutch just couldn't handle the power any longer. It's a mcleod twin disc, but has a lot of miles on it. Ed from Late Model Speed sent me a new tensioner for the maggie and I didn't have any problems with the belt like I was before. Ran 11.4 @ 122 with the clutch slipping on the launch. Car is running 6-7lbs of boost.

Whoa! I didn't know you had a twin disk go out on you. I guess that's what happens when you've got 450 ft lbs at under 2500 rpm. That's going to cost come cheddar. Are you going to go with the same set up?? If you get the Ram twin disk let me know how it is. That's what I'm thinking about going with.

BTW, you need to officially be moved into the 11 sec club! And go ahead and contact the 10 sec club and tell them to reserve you a space!

I'm going to have the mcleod rebuilt. They will resurface the flywheel, rebuild the clutch, and rebuild the pressure plate for I believe $400. Can't beat that for a new setup again.

The clutch was put in two owners ago. The car has 123,xxx miles on it. The previous owner told me the clutch has a lot of miles. The car makes 510/497.

The pulley is a 3.2. The car has a TR224 cam on a 112. Not the best cam for the maggie due to the LSA. Also has TEA stage 1.5 heads.
