Default Best Forced Induction Cam...?

Hi,
my motor is a forged 347 ls6 with PnP 85mm TB, Patriot Stage 2 64cc heads, etc.
And now i'm just trying to pick out a cam.
So far this is the only one that has caught my eye.

thanks!

You can also go with a 224/228 581/581 lift at 115LSA from comp cams that should make a good blower cam. Somtimes I have heard that the bigger blower cam isn't always better, I could be wrong though.

An 02-04 Z06 cam also makes for a pretty good blower cam.

Speed Inc has a nice new selection of blower camshafts as well.

Of coarse there is no real "best" FI cam. It all depends on your driving habits. You could go radical or conservative. I personally am rolling with an LPE GT2-3 cam and am pleased with it. Put down 500rwhp/490rwtq on EPP's dyno with only 6.5psi.

Its hard to say the best fi cam, i have done a lot of searching and there are so many choices. I would call up a sponsor and ask them, they will set it up for your needs.

I've tried a few custom grinds....I'm switching back to a BIG reverse split that Stenod/camotion speced for me. Big power, decent off boost scoot, and decent spool.

I am going to go with EPP's custom blower cam. I heard it makes great power.

I'm sure it is titty-licious for a blower car. Not sure about a turbo car though :whoknows:

That's a decent choice but an even better one for your application may be the comp off the shelf blower cam I am going with in my new ERIK KOENIG, forged LS6 motor, powered by ECS D1SC blower, which will be running 15 lbs of boost on TEA stage II LS6 64cc heads.

224/230 (XER lobes), 114+2, .581/592

Cam selection should be driven by power goal and max rpm that you will spin the engine.

I dont plan on spinning it past 6800, dont think i'll need to with a 2500 lb car.
I'm shooting for 600+ rwhp on 91 octane.

I personally am getting comp to grind a 224-220-584-580-116.5 or 117! Should make decent power and be a good cam for turbo car!

Although often seen in charger applications wide LSA's are not always needed. Get in contact with someone that know what they are doing. For a True custom Grind the entire car's setup comes into play.

custom grinds normally run the same price as off the shelfers? 350-400?

You guys recommend Comp? Thunder? EPP? for custom stuff....

I'm about to sell my custom grind AFR turbo cam:

230/228 591-588 115lsa

Great street manners. Great spool.
