So i just heard about something facinating and i wanted to share it with you all. If you take the ecu from a corvette C5 z06 with a 6 speed and put it in your camaro, auto or stick, you will destroy any C5. there is an article and a video done about this but I cannot find it.

Does anyone know about this and if this is even possible? if so whats involved just a straight up switch out and your good or is there programming and everything because of the difference in user functions and what not. post your thoughts and helps. also post the link to this if you know about it. thanks.

It works but you have to put the Corvette oil in your Camaro and the Corvette air in the tires too.

Only if your camaro has the LS6 block. Otherwise the the stock bottom end can't handle the the Z06 computer.

hmmm mines an 01 so i dont think it has the ls6 block. only a few 02s got those i think. DANG!!!!
