Default 12.01@120

I ran a 12.01@120 on street ties. Cant lauch or it will break loose. Best 60ft 1.9. I need drag radials!

This is on a complete stock motor with 105000 miles. Full exhaust, air intake, and 120shot. Yes I know it is slow for the power, again drag radials.

nice trap speed though. at least you know it is in the car. i dunno, i think i would have to try to mess with air pressures and take some junk out or run on a nearly empty tank or something if i was that close on street tires. just to say you did it.

good luck next time!

Good point. I was bringing in the Nitrous at 3500rpm on that run. I turned it down to 3200rpm but the bottle ran out so it went slower, haha. I have since uped the shot to a 150 but no track time. It may hurt me by getting less traction. Well see! I would like to see 11's on street tires!

What tires are you running on? Definitely a nice trap speed. 120 mph trap speed is knocking on 10s door.

I have the BFG KD's. They are good for the street but can't launch on them. Every one keeps telling me that I should be able to run low 11's but the key is traction. When I get my hardened output shafts in the diff I will put on some ET streets and see if I can get down there! Don't want to break anything

I see you are in about the same boat I'm in. Congrats! Now if I could make sure something wouldn't break by putting on the Dr's I would try it too.
(12.6 @ 116mph on street tires, open diff and 2.1 60').(no nitrous though)

Nice mph. Go with a lower shot and you just may get those 11s on street tires.

Ok I finally got some ET Streets! My third run was my best at 11.2 and 128mph!!! What a difference! I am hooked!

Now for the bad news, on the drive home the clutch took a ****, haha. Time for the Spec 3+, hardened output shafts and the 390 gears.......hopefully my next time at the track we will see 10's!!!

Its been a while and I had forgot about this thread. I put in a Spec 3+ clutch, Quick Time scatter shield, rebuilt the tranny & torque tube, DTE stage 4 drag diff, and up'ed the shot to 150.

I ran 11.09@125mph on a 90 degree day! We have a track day coming up Oct 19th and I am hoping that the air temp and humidity will be down. Going for the 10's!!!
