Default Stuffing an F-Body full of crap...

Since I graduate in December from college, I decided to move as much crap from my room at school back to home in Houston. One of the boxes has every text book I've bought in college since freshman year (bitch weighed seriously 150 lbs..) Who says you can't load junk in 'dat trunk??

before i left for Iraq. i loaded my car up with 3 bags of gear (for here) and all my stuff out of my barracks room. With my dad added as a backup driver we drove from San Diego to FL. added weight to the car was around 500-600 pounds. and i still got 23mpg.

when i moved back down here from DFW about a yr ago. My car was packed too, I couldnt use my trunk either bc of the subs/box. and Sportlines with 17x11 did not work. I had my fenders slightly rolled. Drove about a mile and the entire time my fenders were scraping the tires. Turned back around, had to swap my 17x9s on for the trip back and leave the 11s in dfw to get at another time. bummed me TF out. You actually looked like you were somewhat organized. Not me. I just pushed everything in every little crevice*sp?* I could find. had no choice. didnt want to make another trip. That was the most uncomfortable ride ever.

I've used mine to move twice, brought home a lawn mower when we bought one, a wheel barrow, lumber, bags of soil and mulch, and almost every plant that is now in our landscaping. Yes, I use my SS as a truck.

It all vaccums out and the interior still looks nice.

fold that seat down and load that bitch up! I put 4 C5 rims/tires in the back before and other random **** when helping friends move into their dorms. It has a lot of space if you take down the back seat for a sports car.

Yeah, the 17x11s were scraping some and I was hitting off the bumpstop on every huge bump. I had a tiny 6"x6" hole that I made to look out through the back. Talk about blind spots!

But yeah, I'm gonna have to fit about as much stuff back into my car in December to get all my crap back home. This also includes a hefty sized mini-fridge. Forgot to add, this trip is from Norman, OK to Katy, TX...or about 450 cool miles.
