Thumbs up Painted valve covers, TB, intake, etc.

I finished up my cam swap a few weeks ago and decided to paint some engine parts while I had it apart.
This is a rattle can job with lots of sanding. I painted the intake a dark metallic gray and the valve covers, TB, & MAF "Orange Mist" by Dupli-Color. Looked pretty close to SOM and was a deal at $5 a can. Also clear coated everything.
I applied two coats of primer, color, and clear to all the parts. The only sanding I did was before priming to smooth things out and get good adhesion.

unless he re-painted the exterior..or the engine bay; it looks to be black to me

is that VSG on the intake?

it looks good, everythng pops real nice. the intake would prolly be overkill if the same color..but a gloss black would look good

That is a great color and looks like very good quality!

Best spray paint job...ever.

When I do my Coil pack relocation kit.. I think I will grind down those coil pack mounting tabs smooth then paint it.
