Just Bought 97 Zr28 Convertible
Bought 97 Zr28 Convertible In San Antonio Last Weekend.this Is My 4th Fbody Lt1,kinda Different For A Mopar Guy,but I Am Starting To Really Like These Cars. I Bought The Car From A Guy That Said He Thought It Has A Passkey Problem, No Crank, Got It Home And Found A Loose Connection At The Battery Junction Box. I Had To Reseal The Intake, leak At Rear. I Still Think I Have An Optispark Issue But I Am Waiting For Updates For My Snapon Scanner To Be Sure.starts Great At Times Then Others Has Long Crank Time And Backfires In The Exhaust And Intake, then A Rough Idle, put New PlugS And Wires While Fixing Intake. Mil Is On But Can't Read Codes Yet.this Is My First 6 Speed Car,it Had A New Trans And Clutch Installed Just Before It Died.i Bought The Car For $3000,i Think I Got A Pretty Good Deal ,only Has 80000 Miles On It. WILL POST PICS WHEN I FIGURE HOW TO GET THEM THE RIGHT SIZE

The ZR28 was an LGM tuner package sold through Young Chevolet ... kind of like what Yenko did for Camaros.
It got you springs, shocks, sway bars, a 4.10 gear (I think), CAI, shift **** and ground effects and 17" wheels. I believe there was an option to make it an LT4 engine.
I didn't know there were ragtops, though.
