Default Lt1 2 Ls1!

A friend of mine has a 1994 Firebird Formula that he wants to change over the LT1 to an LS1. He already found an LS1 motor minus the electronics. Will the 4L60E he has right now bolt right up to the LS1 along with the converter? What else would he need to convert this LT1 to an LS1? Any help would be appreciated.

It will bolt up but would require a custom converter to boly up to the LS1 flexplate. To my knowledge this isn't available because it's easier to just use a LSX 4L60E.

Yes you can use it, you need a different flexplate and spacer kit and you can run the same converter.
