Nice belt setup, should work well with a smaller pulley. I bet if we can make over 700whp with a ls2 this motor should be good for 1000whp+. We just need to get one here at the shop, take the blower off and feed it with a hair dryer.

the belt routing is interesting, they have the main belt drive the supercharger, waterpump and ps while the smaller belt drives the alt and ac.

over spinning that blower to make more power could cause issues with over spinning the rest of the accessories?

Right, now when you buy a supercharger pulley you have to buy a wp pulley and a ps pulley. That sorta sucks huh. I wonder if they bothered to key the crank.

Huh? I don't understand why you can't just put a smaller blower pulley on?

From a reliability standpoint I dont understand why they didnt run the atl & WP on a separate belt? So if the main/SC belt breaks you can still drive the car.
I know when I had my Procharger on my C5 when the belt snapped I was stuck, no ALT AND NO WP.

I dont think the motor could breathe enough with the blower stopped, too much restriction...

look at how small the blower pulley is now. how small can one go and still maintain good belt wrap?

generally speaking, you want as big of a blower pulley as you can get. you want a bigger crank pulley to increase the blower speed.

It doesn't look like you could put any larger crank pulley on that setup, unless the picture is just a bad angle. But the blower pulley looks pretty damn small too, it seems like they didn't leave much room for higher boost.

Maybe thats the reason? But if would breath enough to get you home in a limp mode it would be nice.

The pulley looks to be about the same size as the throttlebody opening. So assuming it is 90mm, that could mean the pulley is as big as 3.5" diameter maybe? So there could maybe be room to step down to a 3.2" or so? I'm just guestimating at sizes here, but its gotta be in the ballpark...

There is not a ton of wrap on that blower pulley but, it looks like a 10 rib belt or so on there which would help.

I'm also impressed that it looks to be a 12 rib pulley! It might be more, but it's hard to count from that picture. I would love to know how tall the entire unit is from the valley to the top? It looks to be the lowest profile intercooled twin screw I have ever seen.
