HEY STRANGERS!!!

Anyone know any places around the Houston area that sell UNlocked new in box cell phones? Wanting to get a new phone, but don't want to be tied down to a particualar carrier or what few phones they have to offer. Hoping to find a place local verses Ebay if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Certain phone types are only going to work on certain networks. So even if its unlocked you will still be limited to what networks the phone will work on.

I am looking for a GSM unlocked phone for SIM cards, because that is what my current carrier uses. Per this web site, http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/cou_us.shtml their are others that use GSM if I was not happy with my current carrier.

Ill agree to that, You can use any unlocked GSM phone on a GSM network. Looking at that list though, how many of those providers would you be able to get in this area? I only see a few.

It opens up your options, but you cant use ANY network
