Default The Astros have a new starting 2nd baseman.

And, his name is not Chris Burke.
Kaz Matsui agrees to terms.

Wade is doing some dealing. Ive been keeping up with it, Cruz jr is also here and Brocail is back. Glad to see some moves coming.

Burke didn't have such a hot season for '07 but neither did Matsui. But then again, he seemed to dominate anytime we played the Rockies last year

Maybe we'll get lucky this time around. However, it still won't be the same replacing Biggio's position with some Jap from Colorado

Matsui last year:

.288 37rbi .342 Onbase 24doubles 4hr 32 stolen bases

I'd say that is a significant upgrade over chris burke. If he had a year like he did last year he will be well worth the 5 million, his problem has been consistency.
