Default *PICS* New hood, lowering springs, more....

Well after a nice round of mods here are some before and after pics. I added the WS-6 Ram Air hood, blackbird stripes, Front bird decal, Rear Pontiac decal, !side emblems, Strano springs, Koni 4/3 SA shocks, UMI adjustable LCA's, QTP ORY w/ true merge, Magnaflow catback.

I haven't had a chance to drive the car much. I will post road results in another post. Appearance wise it looks great lowered. The QTP ORY w/ the true merge has a 4" outlet of the y-merge part. That is probably the lowest part of the car. My friend told me "welcome to the world of a lowered sports car with long tubes and 3" exhaust". When driving now, I have to be careful. Just driving the car home I noticed how responsive the suspension was. The car stayed level through turns, the car didnt sway front or back under acceleration/deceleration.

The pics aren't the greatest but when I get some time I will do a nicer photoshoot. Enjoy the pics!

Andy

I KNEW someone was gonna say that. I am going to have to wait until spring to buy wheels.

I was thinking a set of 17" Firehawk chrome wheels would look nice. Or I am going with a black 5 spoke design and chrome lip. We'll see.

^^ I think some Zr-1's would make your car look even better, black w/ polished lip or chrome would be a good choice IMO

YOU knew??? LOL, I think I said that to you before I even replied. I gauranteed that someone would come in and say "you need new wheels". It's like every thread where someone gets new wheels and it's at stock ride height, by the third reply, someone says to lower it.

Good mods. The car looks great.

The wheels look good, they just need to be wider.

Alright I confess, Brien is the one who told me haha. But I knew after he said that.

Thanks for all the replies. It was a lot of work. My friend painted the hood and helped fab the exhaust and make it fit tight. I did the rest.
