Your thoughts about Magnuson Super Chargers?
I planned on going with twin turbos on a sandrail project on my ls6 383 with 9:0-1 cr. But I can get a Maginson from lingenfelter as a used kit for $2400. I was going to go with smaller twins to make power early as that is the most important. I want around 700hp? Any thoughts??

If you want to hit 700RWHP on a street car then (D1SC or F1A maybe) Procharger will be the way to go with the supported mods.
But you are talking about a sandrail, a whole nother animal. I would go with the Magnacharger hands down. Off in the sand off the beaten path I want torque to get me moving, not to mention you'll need a pretty big intercooler for your Procharger, one more part for failure due to sand. Since its a good price thats way I would go. Look at the truck side of the picture, you ask those boys they will say Radix, Whipple, or KB. Roots style. Off road is the last place I want a procharger, unless you just want you numbers printed in a magazine.

seems you all say go with a supercharger over twins....
I was set to go with the twins because I can build a set for about 2500, I've done several rails with twins on smaller engines. I only thought about the maggy because I found that good deal, but don't know if that unit will get me where I want to be. It claims 100 hp from stock but I have a low comp 383. Won't that push the maggy to be more inefficient?

It comes with injectors, manifold, and vette hood. But it is a non intercooled unit.
What kind of power do you think I could make on the maggy.
Compaired to twin garrett t4od?
383
9:0-1
ls6 engine, ls6 cam,ls6 intake
