680/700 aps tt, stock ls2
Went to the dyno tonight after adjusting actuators. I currently have the actuator springs "maxed out" and need to jump up to the next stiffness. Boost now levels off around 13.8-14.0. 2 bottles of torco in tank + methanol. Stock fuel system other than MSD boost a pump.
I'm starting to be limited by the stock motor. I'll probably swap valvesprings as I think the valves are floating in the higher rpm range. More boost will come with the addition of forged rods and pistons.
Just thought I'd share. I'll post up the dyno graph when I get the file sent over to me.

I wish ya luck! I'm sure it will be more fun than if your car was down for 3 months while you were getting your new block assembled! 700hp or tq is WAYYYY to much for stock rods/ pistons in my experienced opinion. It will be fun....no doubt, but its just a matter if time until a rod gives.

I never said that my stock shortblock will live very long at this level.
If it blows up, it is just an excuse to grab some pistons/rods and crank the boost up more

I take it you broke one due to a hp failure your self???? Other wise you would not make such a statement?
We made 735whp and 745wtrq on a stock long block ls2 in a 05' GTO, it has made many WOT passes at a even higher power level now.
