I think they are made by XS. They come from the same place in China.

Oh brother. Here we go. The typical LS1tech response: if it's not Pacesetter, or a VERY expensive brand, then it sucks.

Well I have the OBX stainless long tubes + ORY on my 2000 GMC Sierra 5.3L and they're great. The performance was definitely worth the $532 that they cost me (shipped). Ask people who have them. Not people who just read and regurgitate. They might suck on F-body cars. But on my truck they're great.

hmmm.....i would rather be sure for 500.oo that they will fit/not rust and perform well.....i agree that pacestter isnt the best lt for a ls1 car....but.....i am satisfied with what i have.......not that reading and regurgitaing isnt worng....but i'm not going to be the test rat for some off the wall header

People have them on their 03-05 Dodge Neons and they say they aren't bad. Fitment could be better, but they flow better than stock. I think they are probably beter on smaller displacement engines.

If you read on LS1tech's sister site, PerformanceTrucks.net, the OBX header is becoming the bargain header of choice - yes, over Pacesetter.

If fitment is your issue and you for some odd reason lack the brains and muscle to make something fit, then yeah, maybe you shouldn't get something you're not sure of. The fitment on an F-body I've never seen, so I won't comment on that. But for performance on my LS-based truck, they are awesome!

I found a few threads when they came out about them laying on peoples starters n ****. They look nice, and it can be hit and miss with ANY ehader waether it be XS or Kooks. however ive seen more bad than good for those headers, even the import world doesnt take to kindly to them

Had their stuff on my last car (1.8T VW GTi), had to blowtortch and bend and hammer the downpipe to make it fit. I complained and they said they'd pay for the installation labour, I scanned in the bill and they changed their minds... (probably because it cost more to install than to buy the stupid thing)

Moral: Buy something good and forget about it.

Or use the torch, don't be lazy, so you can save some money. Easy enough.

Yes guys on pt.net can vouch that they are awesome as well as guys on silveradoss.com! I have them on my 04' Silverado SS and they fit perfectly and are made frome verry thick T 304 stainless steel! The welds sre fantastic awesome quality to say the least! OBX is verry qood quality complete bolt on stainless steel system although for my TA I spent the money and got Kooks.

Sorry but I find this post rather funny. You own them and they are great for your truck but they were not good enough for your car. So would you recommend them for everyone else's fbody or not?
