Default T56 Problems

Ok I Have A 02 Ws6, The Problem Is That The Shifter Is Very Very Stiff. I Have Never Had This Problem Before, Even In Neutral Position I Can Barely Move It, Is My Shift Linkage The Problem?? Going Into Any Gear Is A Workout Entirely, the clutch seems to be working fine, it has normal pressure and is grabbing. The Car Is Just Sittin Right Now But Im Military And Need It To Drive Back Once My Leave Is Up. Want To Fix The Problem Myself But I Dont Want To Spend My Entire Vaction Working On My Trans. Any Input Is Helpful, Thanks Alot Guys

Scott

Does it make a difference if the engine is running or not?

What were you doing when it started? Going thru the gears hard etc? It sounds like a possible bent fork or shift rail.

You could take the shifter off and see if it is the problem.

I went a few passes on it, It stuck it in forth gear I had to jam on it to get it out of gear. I drove it home with few problems but then it just completely tightened up.

Like Yellowbird said.. remove the shifter and see if that is the problem. If u can get a new/aftermarket one.. That would be good also. Let us know what happens.
