I've got a 4L60E with only 8000 miles on it if someone buys the LS2 connected to it. I am presently selling the combo complete with computer and all the accessories for only $7900. Here's how I've listed it elsewhere incase you know someone who will take the rest:
Complete LS2 6.0L Engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic.
Comes totally complete with Alternator, AC Compressor, Starter, Power Steering pump & Steering Rack, Exhaust manifolds with head pipes & Ox sensors, engine computer, most of the GTO main engine wiring harness (not guaranteed to be usable for your application), Intake, Throttle body, Throttle, Mass air Sensor, Covers, etc. Engine is currently still attached to GTO cross member and Steering Rack making swap or install a breeze. I had planned to install this in either my ’56 or a new build project however my plans have changed. Will not part out engine tranny combo. $7900 plus shipping.

You really need to re read the post and see that for $7900 you get the complete combo...not just the tranny. Yesterday a combo with higher mileage with less parts included sold on ebay for $7601. I've been traking similar packages and found the range to average about $7000 for just the engine, tranny and computer with an average mileage of 33000 miles so at $7900 including all the stuff I have and only 8000 miles $7900 is actually a smoken deal!
Are there cheaper around, yep I am sure but check out the mileage then talk to me. Heck a few months ago I saw an LS2 engine only go for $3300... it only had 97000 miles on it! lol
