Default BBK or FAST

im sorry idk if it is a sponsor on this site but bbk intake manifolds look like they are a high quality piece and imo look better but the name fast is top notch. is there a big difference in horsepower between these 2 manifolds, if so by how much bc it will save me like 500 dollars and for a 5 horse loss ill take the bbk

Thanks

Unfortunately I have no info to give on it as my car is still in the shop (CMS) getting a new engine put in it and I haven't gotten the chance to drive it since all the new parts have been installed...

Well it depends on your set up. Cam , heads etc but i think most go with the fast intake because the gains over bbk are a little better.

Id have to agree. Im not a fan of the metal intake manifolds. I like the phenolic. I have the fast and it works great. To be honest I would wait to see what the weiand street warrior has to bring to the table once it comes out.

I see they changed the machine work on the bottom of the BBK to clear head stud bolts. It's a quality piece and the portabilty as well as power adder safety did it for me. I'm currently at 600rwhp/603rwtq through an auto on a 402/stage 1 heads/mild cam and procharger. Why rubber band the bolts up? Do you have an issue with removing them .

just makes it easier... no issues removing the front ones... but the rubber band trick works well for the rear bolts, since the cowl is in the way of pulling them out completely...
