DART or not
I have a stock bottom end ls1 I am wanting to put heads and cam on it. I did a seach put not much info. What do you guys think about the darts on my motor. I have used the pro 1 on a 400 small block and i loved them. Just wanting to know if the ls1 darts are anygood or do i need to get another head. Also was wanting to know what cam to get the most out of my car without having to fly cut..................Any info THANKS

The couple sets of dart's we used,we were kind of uninpressed with them,they are a good casting,just need port work.I like the trickflow 215's much better.Depends what your looking for,but we have made 440rwhp with stock 243's and a custom grind we do.

Here is what I was told by a reliable source...The heads out of the box are decent but need some valve guide work,seat work and a new valve job....Once thats gone they work very well on engines up to 400CI but really shine once ported,they can be as good or better than other brands once porting is done but more importantly the guides,vavlejob and seats need to be address first...
