The fuse is probably blown that controls the reverse lockout and skip-shift. Its a 20 amp fuse in under hood fuse compartment closest to the front of the car. It says "eng sens" or something like that. Try a new fuse first, but if it blows you've got an electrical problem.

Holy Old Posts Batman.. If you've recently had the trans out for service/clutch/etc., check that the CAGS and REV-lockout harness connectors haven't been swapped. Otherwise, if you're replacing fuses that are blowing, you need to check for a short or a seized solenoid. If you're replacing fuses just to check, you should check if the fuse is actually blown or not..

ok so i have replace another ENG fuse again after it blew again i check for some wirings and everything seems normal but then i again i might be looking in the wrong place, my blinker light is also not lit i replace it with a new bulb but still no light blinking and all of my other lights are working just the drivers side blinker so this mostly electrical issue so my reverse solenoid is not working, my ENG fuse keeps blowing and my drivers side blinker is not lit at all, does anybody know what i should check for or un plugged? if you can be really specific cuz i not really good at working on electrical stuff any help would be appreciated thanks

If it goes in reverse ok when the ign. switch is on but without the engine running, you might just need to bleed the clutch.

Worth a try

if you keep blowing hte ENG SEN fuse, then you could have a bad / bare wire...this happened on my buddies 2000 TA, he found a wire next to a heat sheild underneith that was rubbing the edge of the heat sheild, causeing his now bare wire to hit the metal sheild and pop the fuse. It took him a bit to trace the wires (i think it was a O2 wire) but he found it. Reverse worked like a charm after that.
