Default How much do I ask for a stock T-56 with 30k

Just as the title says. How much is a stock T-56 worth with 30K on it out of a 2000 camaro SS with no bell housing and shifter just the tranny. I have no idea and its just sitting there and I thought I might try to sell it? So could you guys tell me what you think?

$300. Core charge is $500 complete. That's about all it's worth.

I'll buy 30k mile t56's all day long for $300-500.

You can get atleast $750 out of it, probably a little more.

List it in classifieds all over the place with a high-to-you price. Drop it $25 weekly.

$300 core charge to a customer of a shop is not the same as street value (on the usual online auction sites / forum classifieds.)

If it works you can get close to 700. The problem is that your missing the bell housing and shifter plus you don't know how much life you have left. I would be willing to pay $500. If you can find a used bell housing and shifter and advertise it well you could probably get 750 to 850. How long has it been sitting?

it has been sitting for almost a year I took it out because I bought a beefed up tranny and it was cheaper for what I did to buy the tranny as a whole the way I wanted it then buy the parts and pay the labor and shipping both ways etc. It was working perfect when I took it out. The bell housing and shifter is on the new tranny thus the reason why this one dosent have one. But all the holes are covered and its covered in plastic sitting in my garage so it hasent been exposed to the elements or dirt and dust or anything like that.

I would get a bell housing for it. They are cheap on Ebay. Then you should be able to get about $900 for it. Don't worry about the shifter as most people end up getting a aftermarket one any way.

P.S. I paid $920 for one with 34k on it through Ebay. It had a bell housing and all sensors and solinoids.

For $1275 you can get a badass stage 2 from Six Speed Inc. They are a site sponser so check out thier prices and go from there. Me personally, I'd buy new (for the piece of mind) before I bought a used trans. $700 and it should sell. Good luck with the sale.

Six speeds inc., sells the stage 3 t56 for $1,950 and gives you back $500 when you sen in your core. That's $1,450 for a bad a$$ tranny.

I think 700-800 range is good, we picked up a whole manual conversion kit for $1200 locally.

That's shifter, ****, pedals, master cylinder, slave cylinder, tranny, bellhousing, spec 3+ clutch/pp, and spec billet flywheel(less then 5k miles on clutch/fw).
