Default I am not sure if I should do it??????

Whats up guys I got a 93-94, 6 speed corvette transmission that I wanna swap into my 01 trans am its an auto. My question is, will I have any problems with the wireing, speedo, or curse control, or maybe something esle? or will it even work, because its off an lt1 not an ls1, but it still is a t56, any info would help thanks guys!

I don't think it will work. The 93-94 vette trans (I could be wrong) is a ZF. This might be a question for someone that has built one of these but I do know for a fact that is not a T56.

Since it is not a T56 I would think there would be alot of modifications required to make that work.

Its going to be way too much work . I would sell the ZF 6 spd and use the money toward a LS1 type F body T56 transmission .

Thanks for clarifying it is a ZF. I was not totally sure on that one.

Why not sell the whole car and get a C5?

As said above , the company that built it for GM was ZF . ZF stands for ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
