Default Best Street tire for 18" 500+whp

I am looking at getting a great street tire for my power levels. I already have a drag setup so they do not need to do Street + Strip Duties. I have been looking at BGG DR 275/35/18.

Any suggestions?

What width rim are these going on? I street drive my 275/35/18 BFG DR's and love em. Feel stable in rain under 50mph, i usually dont drive in rain anyway but have been caught a few times and i was making 420/413 last year on weaksauce boost but they still deadhooked at the track. I love em'. I will be trying the MT's for my next set just to compare.

Exact size I was thinking about going with, people keep telling me it's a bad idea, but how long have yours lasted...and how do they look...quite a few miles left on em?

I've put about 4k on them and they still have good life left. I dont baby them but i dont sit there and do burnouts/donuts everywhere either. been to the track 4 times with them, maybe 30 passes on them, still show life left. Id say with the new found power i'll be having this year i will probably get 2k more out of them. I'd say 7-8k if you granny drive, 5-6k if your average with a little pwoer, 4k- less if you drive like a bonehead

The 275s would be a good tire for that, you could put the 295/35/18 on there which they make if it will fit being a GTO. For fronts, a 245/40/18 in anything would probably be a good choice.
