Default Change Exhaust?

I'm finally complete with my header and ory install. I was actually still surprised how quite the car still is.

So my question is.. Will I notice any performance change if I get new exhaust to replace the Firehawk one? Or would it mostly be just sound?

I assume you have the SLP dual/dual catback on your car. I have that same catback. It flows very well and is quiet. I would keep it because you can't find them easily anymore and you wont gain anything by switching it out for another one.

realistically...probably 5-7hp from a good freeflowing catback.

up to you if the cost/benefit is worth it.

you could just install a cutout and call it a day. <$100 installed and you have sound and power when you want it.

Another vote for the cutout. The SLP dual/dual exhaust already flows pretty well....you might pick up a couple rwhp with a better flowing catback, however the cost effective fix to this is to simply install an electric cutout and you would get the best of all worlds (in my opinion)....more aggressive sound, additional horsepower and the ability to quiet the car down if you ever need it to be quieter (long trips, etc.).

got my vote too thats what I did on my SS after the headers were on on a mustang dyno I gained 5 hp with my y pipe disconnected from my I pipe so that tells you that the exhaust was about as good as it gets.
Get an ele cut out too its the best part of my drive to mess with people haha.

Go for a cutout, they are amazingly loud after lt headers. best part is passing semi trucks at WOT.
