Default thinkin about gettin another ls1 car what do you think

sup yalls. i havent gotten rid of my 98 trans am and have no plans of doing so. but i stumbled across a 2001 black on black z28 leather power everything, auto w/shift kit and stall, aftermarket exhaust, clean car. the downfall is the motor is knocking. the brightside. i have a 6.0L iron block i've been saving up to get a stroker kit for for my sts rear mount kit. and i was gonna put the 6.0L in the trans am and take my ls1 out. maybe put the trans am ls1 in the z28 have a good daily driver aside from my tahoe. and be able to build the trans am still. and the bad motor would give me alot of parts for my 6.0L. oil pan, oil pump pickup, all the covers, extra set of coils and center bolt heads . . . you get the picture. the car has a clean title. it was in a small accident in oct of 01. the guy wants 3k for the car. bank approved me for the loan. would you get it? it also has grey snowflakes on it. i have a set of z28 5spoke wheels off my 98 parts car i had to. so it would be a good lookin car and i have tons of parts for it. so im askin for your opinions. thanks

Get it, later on if you wanted you could always sell it for much more then you'll have in it. As long as you're doing the labor getting that Z28 up and running will hardly cost you anything since you already have a running LS1 to swap in.

Sounds like a pretty good plan to me, I'd go for it, you've got the extra parts laying around, might as well put them to use. And like stated above, you could always turn around and sell it later on and possibly turn a profit.

you can't find a roller like that for that cheap . I would definitely look into buying it. you can always sell it if you stumble across financial trouble. just make sure your checkbook will balance out comfortably ahead of your expense costs.

Sounds like you can put together one heck of a car there. I would go at the project full force.
