stock ls1 heads flow about 230 / 235 cfm. stock ls6 heads flow about 265, ported ls1 about 290/300 cfm and ported ls6 heads 320 ish. my budget stage 1 ls6 heads flow 307 according to TSP. just my 2 cents. i agree with the last post that i gained around 20 rwhp from my budget heads. i have an A4 and a mild cam. i should have gone with a slightly bigger cam to take advantage of my heads. live and learn.

I picked up 39hp with Stage 2 ls6 heads with the same cam. With the cam you have you should raise the compression also if you get new heads I would do a 62cc chamber and .040 gasket.

By what I have seen on this board. Yes. I want to take mine off and have them ported and milled to gain some compression.

This was going from stock LS1 heads to ported ls6 and a .040 head gasket.
