To long tube or not to long tube that is the question?
How much of a ground clearance issue will I have with longtubes or should i go with short tubes?

You will get various answers to this, but from my experience most brands tuck up nicely with the exception of SLP's. They hang a bit lower than most, but are good ones. If you lower your car, then you are also subject to problems. Do a search and get some other ideas. Lots of guys on here with some good advice.

I had longtubes and a 3/4-1" drop (SLP Level II) and never had issues. The real secret is in the y-pipe. An off-the-shelf y-pipe may have some clearance issues but a nice custom one at a proper shop can be tucked up nicely.

My car's pretty low and my Pacesetter LT and ORY combo has better ground clearance that my stock Y did by about half an inch or so. Clearance shouldn't be a problem, and you'll love the power the longtubes give your car, it feels like a completely different car.
