Given two grandsports not sure if I can use them, measurements within
A friend at work recently gave me two grandsport wheels. At first glance they looked the same. I looked a little closer and the lugnut area looks different. Can anyone tell me what these are made to fit. Will I be able to make these work. Where can I buy one more of each.
Wheel 1
From inside lip to hub is a shade more than 6 3/8", Wheel is just under 10.5" wide
Wheel 2
From inside lip to hub is a shade more than 7 5/8". Wheel is just under 10.5" wide
What have I got here? Should I sell them or try to find more to match? What size tires would fit on these?

look on the inside of rim or somewhere on a spoke, should be the offset number.
probably a 36mm offset on one and a 50mm offset on the other, but the numbers should be imprinted somewhere on the back of the rim.
good luck

Ok, I looked at the back of the wheel. Not sure why I didn't think of that first. One wheel says +38mm and the other says +56mm. Now that I know what they are I will just do a search and see what they will fit.

they are both 17x9.5 rims.......11's are 36mm and 50mm. hope that helps you pair them up now.
most people use the 56mm for the front. i THINK the 38mm will work up front but is considered aggressive. maybe for a big brake kit, not sure.

The overall width of a wheel is usually ~ 1" wider than advertised. The Advertised width of a wheel is from the INSIDE surface of each wheel bead.
So those wheels are 9.5" wide and a 275/40ZR17 tire will fit perfectly.
The 38 mm offset works on all four corners of an F-Car. the 56 does too, but looks tucked in.

Last question about these wheels. They both also say "OEC Wheel" on the backside of the spoke. Does this mean they are made by OE Concepts? I am asking because it want to make sure I get the same design wheels.
