timing chain
Ok, so I am doing a cam install and trying to determine whether or not to buy just a chain or the kit with gears also, I have 100,000 miles on the car

I believe the cloyes are single non roller for that price, I know cloyes carries a roller chain but, its still a single. I would do both the chain and gears because they wear together.

With 100K miles on the car, I would take this offer and install two new gears as well. Its only a few extra bucks (screaming deal) and offers peace of mind. The sprocket teeth do wear and when they do they tend to hold the chain longer (chain wrap) which can break the chain.
