Default gotta a turbo and three cams?? need lelp

okay guys i know this may sound like a crazy question so if you need more specs just ask and i will try and fill in the blanks. I have a foxbody that i am putting an LSbased motor in.

the car should weigh in at 2650 with me in it when finished. the motor is a 375 c.i iron 6.0 @ 9.3CR with ported 6.0's and not sure if i am gonna go with a carb intake and elbow or plastic. The car has a th350 w/transbrake and 4000 stall. and the turbo is a master power 76-74. i have three cams to choose from at the moment that is my main problem. which sounds more like the cam i need

1. 214/230 .601/.575lift on a 119
2. TR224
3. 224/230 .581/.588lift on a 113

any help please?

Go with the last in my opinion, very similar to what I will be going with a spec'd by comp but really depends on the exact setup. The 3rd would make the most power and yet still have great driveabilty and off boost power.

which TR224 do u have?

3 options:
224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA
224/224 .563/.563 114 LSA
224/227 .563/.569 114 LSA <----better choice IMO out of the three

I do like ur 3rd cam tho...tough decision if it's the third TR224 cam.

I just assumed it was a single pattern 224 and as long as its on a 114 LSA that would work also. I think the forward pattern, either number 3 of original post or number 3 of the tr224 cams would work also like mentioned above.

Go with the first! The big lsa will give it a nice stock like idle. The lift is not that high especially for a 370 size engine.the split duration with bigger exhaust is fine too.
I am using a ling gt7 possibly with 1.8 rockers or a lingenfelter gt 11 with 1.7s.
Both are similar splits to the first one, big lsa for stocklike idle.
Unless you want a rumpity rump idle then go for the 113s or whater lsa.Turbos will make power seems like with just about any cam. You can find the specs of my cam on lingenfelter site under engines and ls1.They are custom ground by comp for lingenfelter.
The gt7 I think is also very similar to one year of z06 cam.

#3 FTW. I'm running a 224/236 on 388 cid with a 76. It works very well.

When I got my car it had the 224/224/112 .563/.563 cam in it, worked great, I went to the z06 cam on the new motor because i wanted a stock like idle and better gas milage. If I swap out the heads for l92's I might change up the cam. I personally wouldn't change a cam out on a turbo car unless I was there for other work or I was trying to squeak every last HP out of it.
