Default Fuel filter question... life span

So I have a fuel filter that I put in the car about
3.5 months ago.....

I spray the juice... I have put maybe 3000 miles on since then.. maybe..
that might be pushing the mile amount...

But I am not sure how often I should replace it..
What do you guys think for racing this weekend..

SAFE to race, or replace????? Fuel filter that is...

I do not have dope on my car but if your worried I would think with the ease of the install and cheap security it costs, it can not hurt. As far as length of time they last, up to you I bet.

I've had a relatively new filter clog on me, so IMO there is no real length of time to go. I've been going every 6 months or 2-3 oil changes.

Thanks quickblade! Good reminder man. I haven't changed mine in several oil changes but last time I replaced it I cut it open and it was clean as can be

Yeah, last time I replace mine it was clean as could be also...
I have not ever in my life... wait I lied... but not seen too many bad ones.

My wife and I had a 95 chev truck 4x4 that we had bought brand new...
At around 75000 some miles.. LOL.. i know.. my **** was stuttering around, feeling like I had no power and slippage...

Turns out that the fuel filter was clogged, and the tranny filter had to be changed.. LOL... having both going bad at same time makes you say
OH ****.. what is wrong...

I was thinking that also... the ease and price to replace is good.
