bought some used afr's! Replace valve seals? Just as the title states, i bought some used afr 205's. I was told they have 5000 miles on them, just wondering what i should do to them before i put them on. I thought maybe valve seals would be worth doing. Anything else??? Which of the sponsors carry valve seals for the afr's??

What do you guys mean by "freshened up"?? I was actually going to take them to a local machine shop and get them milled a little more, theyve already been milled .018 and they have almost brand new patriot gold duals on them.

At the very least, lap the valves and check spring pressures and installed heights. Replacing the seals is a good idea since you have it all apart. GM sells seals, as well as a place called U.S. seal, which is cheaper I think. You may want to have them mill a cleanup cut, to make sure the surface is nice and flat.
