Any problems if i leave excess wax on the car long??

Any problems if i leave excess wax on the car long?? well i just put the wax on the car and was wondering if i have to take off the excess wax right away one it drys.
will there be problems if i leave it there long??
ran out of clean microfiber towels... there in the lundy machine then i gonna let them air dry ill say about an hour to 2 till i buff out the excess wax...

Well, I wouldn't leave it on there for any more than an hour or two. Depending on which meguiars wax you used, the temperature, how heavily you applied it, ect. The problem might be how difficult it is to get off.
