well either way it is still a decent price with HD formatting. Anyone interested is welcome to buy. They won't totally quit HDDVD for a while yet.

The movies are the same @ best buy in fact planet earth is 54.99 then you just use one of the coupons that save 10% then they are even cheaper. Sorry i would much rather have them new if the price is that high.

just get a PS3, it upscales all the regular DVD's to HD so basically it plays HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, ive compared them all and it does make a difference. HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray not much difference but upscaling a DVD vs HD-DVD about the same.

Well PS3 is the best value Blu-ray player, but thats all that is. I had one and sold it because i played my XBOX more than that.

Not exactly. An HD DVD is much better than an upscaled regular DVD. If you can't tell a difference, you're not watching it on a decent TV.

HD DVD is dead though, so it is of little concern.

i am watching on a great tv and there's not much of a difference, though as stated the HD-DVD is better, but just slightly.

DVD = Kind of blurry compared to HD
Hd-DVD = Clear enough to see Kristen Dunst stained *** teeth.

Dude, I'm glad I didn't go off and buy and HD- DVD player for my 360. I was really thinking about it until I heard the news on ign. Just last week the HD player for xbox were selling for about $170 and just earlier I saw one sell for $80. Again, I'm glad I didn't go off and buy one.
