Is the SLP car cover waterproof?

Default Is the SLP car cover waterproof?

I didnt know where to post this, but does anybody know if the car cover repels water? Like if i leave it outside eith the cover on in a rain and take it off will the car still be relatively dry? just need a quick answer

yeah, i read that but nowhere did it say it was waterproof...

IIRC, you don't want one that's 100% water proof because it will also trap moisture inside or something. Otherwise, just use a plastic tarp and some tiedowns. Much faster and much cheaper too. You want one that "breathes," I think I've read. Could be wrong.

good point...i never thought about that....does anybody recommend these SLP covers? Are they any good? Do they let out moisture?

What you want is an unwoven cover that will breathe and not trap moisture or condensation but allow it to evaporate.

wow, i just did some research on the SLP cover and found out that the general census says they are crappy car covers.

i have a california car cover and it works great. Got the storm weave so no water would get through. Also seems like the material breathes fairly good. http://calcarcover.com

No, the SLP cover is not waterproof. It breathes well but you gotta keep it clean or it will end up scratching your paint!

yeah, i almost bought a SLP for 90 bucks, but i looked into it and found out i would be better off just putting a blanket over my car, im looking at a covercraft or a california right now
