My formula died the other day i replaced the battery. So about a day later my battery level started droppinand my car died as soon as i got back on base. So my question is what brand of alternator should i buy and new or remanufactured. Oreillys or cardone industries

Hey guys i was wondering the same thing. I ordered an alternator today from Advanced Auto. They came in two sizes 102 amp and 105 amp. I was gonna go with the 105 but the 102 had a lifetime warranty and the 105 only had a year so i ordered the 102. Did i make the right choice?

as long as your not runnin a bunch of electronics youll be fine.

i actually bought the delco alt for a vette from the stealership that has the clutch on it and at 5000 rpm it quits charging to keep from buring up the regulator. probably the only thing ive ever gotten from the stealership i liked

I got no amp or subs or anything. The only electronics i have is an alarm and remote start and an indash dvd player. So hopefully the 102amp alt. will be ok. What is stock for a 2000 ss camaro?

i bought the vette alternator for my Z because of the clutch feature on the alt. it keeps it from burning up the regulator when Im above 5000rpm in my 408. i bought one for a 04 vette and it bolted directly up
