How are these for all-year driving? I can get them on clearance for $85 a tire. Should I jump on that right away?

on my GTO and 95 Impala SS...they don't wear too bad, and the Impala is a DD, have been pretty good on that. Any performance tire sucks in the snow, but its surefooted on wet pavement. The only down side...they are way soft, so you MUST rotate them very often.

I am pleased with the overall performance of the tire. Going from Sumitumos to the KDWS's they were a huge improvement. I say go for it. BFG makes a pretty good tire.

I think they're pretty good in the snow for a performance tire. I was able to chunk out of a parking lot with about 8" of fresh snow one time and I've never been stuck with them.

Dry and wet traction is ok but degrades significantly once the tires are about 50% worn - like most modern tires. The worst thing about them is that the stiff sidewall that's so good for cornering makes for a harsh ride.

I really enjoy my KDWs, they are by far the best tire I have put on my car, and I have tried a few with similar prices. They also perform the best in the rain of any tire I have driven on while owning my two Firebirds(current Formula and 95 T/A)

so far they have held up pretty good. at first i didn't like the way they looked on my SS . kinda made my car look like it had four wheel drive..... but after a little wear ,they started to look alot better on the car. Hell ,for 85.00 each , i would buy another set for the hell of it !!

ooh! I like the tires a lot, I know 2 people who had them and they're "ok" on snow, great on dry and wet pavement. Where ya finding them? I need 225/55/16 for my Olds

I have 18" KDWS on my D/D I've been driving them in the snow (of course it's fwd) but they manage reasonably. They are a good tire but, like stated you need to rotate often it's easy to get uneven wear with em'.
